Carrie Lynn Orr

Carrie Lynn Orr, age 66, of Coon Rapids, passed away on June 25, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family. 

Preceded in death by her father John and her sister Betsy. She is survived by her Mother Marlys, brothers John Jr., Louis (Rhonda), nephew Riley, nieces Jennifer, Katie, Abbie. She is also survived by her many special friends and family members whose lives she touched, and her beloved fur babies, Johnnie and Jolie.  

Carrie graduated from Minneapolis vocational school in 1976. After graduation she began her long career in communications. Her dedication held during the changes from Bell systems to Qwest and she finally retired after over 40+ years.

Carrie was a huge supporter of the Animal Humane Society and loved to care and nurture all animals in need. Carrie will be remembered for her creativity, her love for rescuing animals and her kindness that she shared with everyone who was blessed to know her. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, at noon.  Friends and family will gather at Miller Funeral Home located at 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432 to share stories and fellowship in honor of Carrie.
