C. Earl Neuerburg
Age 87, passed away surrounded by his family in his Fridley home on June 3, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo (Stuart); and 4 grandchildren. Survived by children, Nancy (Floyd) Jares, Laury (Ronald) Panning, John(Lyuba), Martha Cooper, Donna (Julio) Flores, Susan (Mark ) Speldrick, and Michael (Andrea); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert (Trudy); sister, Marie Willan.
Earl was born and raised in Wadena, MN. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy during WWII. He received a BA from the U. of M. and a MSW from the U. of Utah.
Earl worked at Anoka County for 30 years. He was the director of Social Services division as well as supervisor of various units. He also had worked in Stearns and Milaca County Social Services and for the State of MN. He belonged to the Foresters, Catholic Slovak Assoc., and Knights of Columbus .
Earl demonstrated faith, hope, and love in his life. We felt blessed to have known him. We will love you forever dad/grandpa/friend.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Church of St. William, 6120 5th Street NE, Fridley. Visitation 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
