Bruce Mewhorter

Mewhorter, Bruce L. age 67 of Spring Lake Park passed away on March 19, 2020.  He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 46 years.  Bruce was born November 10, 1952 to Clarence and Eleanore Mewhorter.  He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Mark; sister, Judie Grant.  He is survived by his wife, Debra; sons, Bryce (Cindy), Brandon (Jessica); daughter, Stephanie (Arnie) Helgerson; 3 granddaughters; other relatives and friends.  Bruce was a quiet guy who liked to spend time at the lake in Lindstrom, MN with several friends, and raise a few beers.  He will be greatly missed by all. . After all the craziness this past year, we’re finally having a day to celebrate Bruce, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend. His Celebration of Life will be held on Sat, July 31, at 12PM with visitation beginning at 11:30AM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley. Following the service, the family invites friends and loved ones to reminisce about all the good times with Bruce at Kraus-Hartig VFW 6587, 8100 Pleasant View Dr NE, Spring Lake Park.
