Emmons, Brett Arthur,
age 47 of New Brighton, MN. Preceded in death by father, Warren Emmons and Brother-in-law, Raymond Tricarico. Survived by wife, Paula (Tetzman) Emmons; son, Easton Bruce Emmons; Mother Lois (Hansen) Emmons; Siblings, Mari Tricarico, Dan (Jenny), Ryan (Tammy); nieces, Krystal (Nick); Amber, Brittany, Rachel and Brianne; nephews, Alex, Quentin; great-nephew, Logan; great-niece, Tabitha. Father-in-law, Bruce Tetzman, Mother-in-Law, RuthAnne Tetzman; Sister-in-Law, Lori Tetzman; Brother-in-Law, Craig Zweber. Loved by many special friends, UPS co-workers and softball teammates. Brett was raised in Coon Rapids and graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1985. He then went to Anoka Ramsey Community College where he met the love of his life, Paula. Brett achieved a two-year Associate of Arts degree. From there he attended the University of Minnesota and further achieved a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and a minor in Statistics. Brett and Paula were married in August 1992 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in NE Minneapolis. Brett and Paula have one son, Easton Bruce Emmons, born December 1998. Brett worked his way through college working at UPS subsequently becoming a driver. Brett had 20 years in with UPS where he met many dear friends.
Brett's great loves were Paula and Easton, hiking with his family, playing softball, traveling and all his dogs. A special thank to the Angel Foundation for all of their support throughout Brett's journey. In their honor, a special annual softball tournament is being planned for Brett and all of the proceeds will go to the Angel Foundation. More information to come.
