Beverly "Bev" Jodsaas (Levang), age 85, of St. Anthony, MN, peacefully gained her angel wings on August 8th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on February 19, 1939, in Lisbon, ND, to Clifford and Leckny (Berntson) Levang, Bev spent her early years in Watford City and Keene before settling in Forman, ND, where she completed high school. After graduation, she lived in Lisbon, ND, met and married Larry Jodsaas in 1959 where they lived in Wahpeton, and Grand Forks, ND, before eventually moving to the Minneapolis area. Bev was a longtime resident of New Brighton, MN, and was actively involved in various organizations, including the Lions Club, New Brighton Stockyard Days, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and she volunteered at Unity Hospital.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Bev had a passion for crafts, particularly flower arranging, and loved sharing her crafting talents. She also enjoyed old-time dancing, attending her grandchildren's events, and playing bingo with friends at the Eagles Club.
Blessed to have shared her life are her children, Sherry Dedolph (Brian) of Blaine, MN; Rick Jodsaas of Phoenix, AZ; and Kim Polley (Bill) of Marco Island, FL; her grandchildren, Nick Dedolph (Alyssa), Alex Dedolph (Sophie Carlson), Brandon Dedolph, Dylan Jodsaas (Hannah), Javilyn Jodsaas (Erica), LeRoy White (Allison Stocker), Kirra Polley, and Chase Polley; her great-grandchildren, Aria, Abbi, Everly, Kale, and Krue Jodsaas; and her brother, Odin Levang. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Jill Toyne, Kraig Levang, Tammy George, Teresa Wilson, Scott Levang, Tracy Boylan, and Donny Levang.
Welcoming her into eternal peace are her parents, Cliff and Leckny; her brothers, LeRoy and Cleo (who was lost in Vietnam in 1967 while serving with the USMC); her special companion, Greg Tilkes; and numerous cherished friends and family members.
Bev's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were touched by her grace and love.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ahsan M. Bhatti, MD, FACP, Erin Keech, PA-C, and the staff at Fairview Southdale Hospital Oncology floor for their compassionate care.
