Barbara Jean Ososki

Ososki, Barbara, age 92, of Fridley, passed away on 2/17/24 from complications from a stroke.

Barb grew up in St. Cloud with five siblings & numerous boarders. Her ancestry is 100% Slovenian. A St. Cloud Cathedral grad, she later became a manager at Northwestern Bell in Mpls. Barb raised her family in Fridley & retired to Apache Junction, AZ. A dedicated member of St. Williams Church, she was both a volunteer & employee. Barb treasured knowledge, family, friends, motherhood, reading, baking, swimming, weaving, travelling, card games, & an occasional Brandy-7. She was caring but didn’t suffer fools gladly. Barb was generous with her laugh, her time, and her opinions. We will miss her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and her sister, Bede. Survived by her children: Elaine Ososki, David (Kristen), Donald (Penny), and Tom (Dana); and 7 grandchildren, Emily (Logan), Allyson, Tyler, Eric, Logan, Tana, and Anthony.
