Arthur Berg

Arthur was born December 22, 1932 in Rockford Township, Wadena, MN, the son of Oscar and Emma (Fultz) Berg. He passed away on March 8, 2011 at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 17 days. Arthur attended school in Wadena & served in the US Navy from 1952-1956 on the USS Dixie & USS Midway. He worked for a short time at Zero Maxand continuing on to 3M as a tool/die operator retiring from 3M at age 55. Arthur was very skilled mechanically, working with his hands. He had many passions from building and restoring cars, motorcycles and scooters. He always made sure he attended his Navy and class reunions, sharing memories of days gone by. He dearly loved and gave great care to his family members and will be missed by all his family and friends. Arthur is lovingly survived by brother Glenn of Ramsey; sisters Emily LaVonne (Robert) of Florida & Virginia of Wadena; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law and a nephew. Funeral service 1:30 pm Saturday in the Miller Funeral Home Chapel, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation from 12 noon until the hour of service. Interment in the Ft. Ripley Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
