Anthony Swanson

Age 70 of Fridley, passed away on July 15, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Tony honorably served his country in the Navy. He is a retired Teamster. Tony enjoyed spending time with family, friends and pets. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed music, traveling with his wife and was the life of every party. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Gladys Swanson and a brother Raymond Swanson. Tony is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Joyce; children Angela (John) Herrman of Hawaii and Raymond (Adam) Swanson of Apple Valley. The light of Tonya�(TM)s life was his 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Hunter, Madelyn and Allison Herrman . Tony is also survived by sisters Nancy (Jim) Hermes, Ann Marie (Ron) Hoheisel; brother-in-law Gifford (Joyce) Sutherland and many loving nieces and nephews. Tony is also survived by family, friends and golf buddies. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday in the Church of St. William, 6120 5th street NE, Fridley. Visitation Sunday from 4-8pm in the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley with a 6 pm prayer service with Rosary followed by a 6:30 pm Fridley VFW Honor Guard. Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment St. Josepha�(TM)s Catholic Cemetery, Lino Lakes.
