Andrew Divine

On Tuesday September 5, 2017, Andrew Divine passed away suddenly at the young age of 44. Andy will be lovingly remembered by his sister Lisa, brother in law Jon and their two daughters Emily and Addison. He leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends who will miss him dearly. A special shout out to his long time roommate and best friend Justin Watts. They have been friends for the last 12 years and roommates for the last 10 years. Justin was a great friend to Andy and will miss him dearly. Andy was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Kathy Divine.

Andy grew up in Fridley, MN. He left Fridley and moved to Colorado to work at Winter Park Resort and lived the good life of a ski bum. Later, he moved to Arizona and most recently lived in San Diego where he worked as a Carpet Binding Technician for many years with JUS Industries. He loved adventure, everything from skateboarding when he was young, to snowboarding after high school and then Frisbee golf while in San Diego. Andy was one of a kind and a true and loyal friend to everyone that knew him.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley on Sunday September 24th from 2-4pm. A burial service will take place at Lakewood Cemetery on Tuesday September 26th at 9:30am, friends and family are welcome to attend.
