Alvin Ernest Bluhm
Alvin Ernest Bluhm of White Bear Lake, MN (previously New Brighton, MN) left this world peacefully on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 at the age of 91. He now rejoins beloved wife Florence Bluhm, who passed away in 2011 after fifty-five years of marriage. Alvin was also preceded in death by father Frank Bluhm, mother Martha Larson, stepfather Gustaf Larson (all of Kerkhoven, MN), and brothers Robert Bluhm (of Annandale, MN) and Eugene Bluhm (of Monticello, MN). He is survived by daughter Laurie Holmes and her husband Michael Holmes, grandson Brian Holmes, and granddaughter Katherine Holmes and her husband Martin Proud.
Alvin's public memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1st at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley, MN 55432. This will be preceded by a visitation at 10:00 AM and followed by a light lunch. For those unable to join us in person, a live internet video stream and recording of the service will be available at millerfuneralfridley.com.
A private interment ceremony will take place later this year at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in New Brighton.
