Allan Smedsrud

Smedsrud, Allan J., age 75, formerly of Sioux Falls and Fergus Falls, died on July 23, 2013 in Fridley, Minnesota. He had also resided in Texas and North Carolina. Allan was a 30+ year employee of CIT Financial Services. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served under General Chuck Yeager. Preceded in death by parents, Anders & Junice. He is survived by his children, Marlene (John) Day, Kathryn, Joe, John (Michelle), Karen (Eric) Lohden; grandchildren, Kevin Brick, Adam Brick, Lisa Day, Matthew Day, Jake Smedsrud, Megan Lohden, Noah Lohden; former wife, Monica Schaefer; and siblings, Marlene Najdek, Larry Cordal.
