Allan Lee Nordin

Allan Lee Nordin of Blaine, MN was born on June 21, 1959 at Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, the oldest of three children born to Donna and Rueben Nordin. He was baptized and confirmed at Holy Triune Lutheran Church on NE Minneapolis. He attended NE Junior High and Edison High School in NE Minneapolis, then Spring Lake Park High School after the family moved to Fridley, MN. He spent his work career in the construction industry, specializing in sheet metal fabrication and carpentry. He also spent time in roofing. He greatly enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Although his life was often difficult, some joy came to his life on 1/29/90 when his daughter Danielle came into this world, although he had to mourn her untimely death in 2018. He lost his brother Greg in 2019.

We commend our brother Allan to God’s care, who knows the thoughts of our hearts and whose grace is our salvation.

Allan passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 64 years.  He was preceded in death by daughter, Danielle Nordin; father, Rueben Nordin; and brother, Greg Nordin. He is survived by mother, Donna Nordin; sister, Nancy (Paul) Buerkle; friend, Linda Dickman; nephew and niece and great-nephews and great nieces.

Memorial service Thursday, October 26, 2023 - 2:00 PM with visitation 1/2 hour prior to service at St. Philip's Lutheran Church Small Chapel, 6180 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.  All attending will enter through door #2 of the service.  All other doors will be locked.
