age 89 of Mounds View. Passed away as gracefully as she lived on October 22, 2010. Preceded in death by husband of 59 years, William; brothers, Glen and Richard; sister, Gladys; and granddaughter, Dawn. Survived by children, Bruce (Kathy) Frits, Garry (Jan) Frits, Patricia (George) Grone, Robin (Lu) Frits, Marc Frits, Gretchen Walbridge (Alan Creamer), Janet (Robert Jr.) Theisen; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brothers, Darrel, Greg, and Gayle. Alice was an active volunteer of the Lee & Rose Warner Nature Center, Science Museum of Minnesota, and was a charter member of the Mounds View Park and Recreation Association. She was also a member of the Lions and Lioness Clubs and recipient of the Melvin Jones Award. Funeral service Tuesday, Oct 26, 10:30AM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 HWY 65 NE, Fridley. Visitation Monday, 5-7 PM and one hour prior to service on Tuesday. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials preferred to Lee & Rose Warner Nature Center 15375 Norell Ave. N, St. Croix, MN.
