Larson, Albert Harold age 90 of Fridley on July 4, 2012. He was born on January 14, 1922. Survived by his wife, the love of his life, Betty Lou married for 66 years; son, Larry (Valerie), and many friends and family. Albert was preceded in death by his son, Roger Daryl. Albert was a pressman for the St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Mpls. Star Tribune. He served as a paratrooper in Company B 505th Parachute Infantry 82nd Airborne during WWII with four combat jumps. Albert received many awards during his 3 ½ years in the service including two Purple Hearts. Visitation on Wednesday, July 11 from 10-11 AM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 NE Hwy 65 in Fridley with service at 11 AM (763-571-1300). Burial at 1 PM at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to March of Dimes or North United Methodist Church, 4350 Fremont Ave. N., Mpls MN 55412.
