Donald Krtnick, 86, of Fridley passed away at his home on Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Nikolas and Katherine (Rojka) Krtnick. He was a 35 year union carpenter and avid fisherman, who loved to go bowling and garage sale shopping.
He is survived by his wife, Ida; children, Ken (Diane), Daniel, David, Sandra; six grandchildren, Christian (Jessica) Krtnick, Angela (Dan) Complin, Kathryn (Marcus) Krtnick-Wilson, Nicole Gerjets, Jennifer Gerjets, Danielle Gerjets; nieces and nephews, Mindy McEntire, Fred McEntire, Wayne Gorian, Dale Gorian, Georgia Luedtke, Debbie Gorian.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
